Rico Rivera is the CEO of Alpha Power Group LLC, a proud Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned electrical and specialty contractor. A Marine Corps Combat Veteran and Sergeant, he leads with the principles of discipline, integrity, and service that were instilled in him during his military career.

With over 25 years of expertise in supply chain, logistics, operations, and project management, Rico has built a reputation for delivering high-quality solutions across complex industries. His diverse EPC management experience spans power transmission, distribution, substations, renewables, commercial and industrial sectors, and the oil and gas industry.

Michael T. Benoit is a seasoned professional with over 28 years of expertise in the construction industry. As the Founder and Chief Operating Officer, as well as the General Counsel, Michael has built a robust career leading projects across multiple sectors, including transmission, distribution, substations, renewables, subsurface, signal, and both commercial and industrial construction.

Throughout his career, Michael has gained extensive experience in navigating complex legal and operational challenges, driving growth and operational excellence, and ensuring high standards of safety and quality. His comprehensive knowledge and leadership have been instrumental in the success and development of numerous large-scale projects, making him a trusted authority in the construction industry.

With a deep commitment to innovation and sustainability, Michael continues to shape the future of specialty construction with his dedication to excellence and legal expertise has earned him a reputation as a respected leader in the field.

James Pratt is the Chief Operating Officer at Alpha Power Group. He brings more than 25 years of expertise in the utility and generation industries, specializing in operational oversight and execution strategy. Known for his unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and productivity, James has successfully led large-scale projects, programs, and asset management initiatives for some of the industry's most respected organizations, including PG&E, SMUD, HDR, and Quanta Services. His wealth of knowledge and dedication make him a trusted partner for utilities, investors, and contractors alike.

James holds a BS degree from San Diego State University and an MBA from California State University, Sacramento. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Journeyman Lineman, Master Electrician, and general/electrical contractor in many states.

Mathew Smith is the Director of Operations of Professional Services, bringing over 20 years of experience across procurement, material management, construction management, and project management. He has successfully led and supported major construction projects in the Oil & Gas, Industrial / Manufacturing, and Power sectors.

Known for his strong work ethic and disciplined approach, Mathew is highly regarded for his professionalism, determination, and organizational skills. His ability to manage complex projects and deliver consistent results has made him a trusted leader in operational excellence.

Tim Hoyt is the Director of Safety, Fleet, Training, andQuality,  bringing with 18 years ofexperience in the electrical industry, he brings extensive hands-on expertiseand technical leadership to his work. He has spent the past 10 years teachingelectrical apprenticeship programs and generator systems, helping develop thenext generation of skilled professionals. He holds a degree in safety,reinforcing his strong commitment to safe and compliant work practices. Inaddition, he leads his school’s robotics program and organizes competitivetournaments, fostering innovation, teamwork, and technical excellence.
