Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment according to codes and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Inspect electrical components, identify hazards, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Provide clear documentation of work performed and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Valid journeyman electrician license or certification (preferred).
• Ability to read and install electrical systems from engineering drawings, blue-prints etc.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety protocols.
• Ability to use hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites.
• Must pass a background and drug screening.

Working Conditions

Journeyman Electrician typically work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, homes, and businesses. The position may require travel to different job locations and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
