Key Responsibilities

·      Install new HVAC systems and components according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning heating and cooling systems in both residential and commercial settings.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and calibrating thermostats.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Communicate with clients to explain findings, recommend solutions, and provide cost estimates.
• Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigerant handling.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and withstand varying weather conditions.

• Must pass a background and drug screening.

Working Conditions

HVAC Technicians typically work both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in cramped or elevated spaces. The job may require lifting heavy materials and working outside of regular business hours to address emergencies or complete projects on schedule.
